[sic!] Summer Institute Cologne 2016 [In Situ]

Theaterwissenschaftliche Sammlung, University of Cologne, Germany, 22 August to 2 September, 2016

 

[sic!] is looking forward to its fourth year and to the topic of "In Situ". The international program offers annual graduate-level seminars on topics in cultural history as well as lectures, poster presentations, academic workshops, and an excursion. In 2016, there will be seminars in the historiography and theory of the arts and culture. You can find all the information on this year's program in the "Session 2016" section of this website. Participants for [sic!] 2016 have already been accepted and the application process is closed.

 

[sic!] is hosted by the Theaterwissenschaftliche Sammlung (TWS) of Cologne University, one of the largest archives of theatre history in Europe. Situated in the picturesque manor house Schloss Wahn, located in the suburbs of Cologne, [sic!] provides  a unique setting for learning and discussion, combining gracious surroundings with facilities for daily seminars, and offering access to exceptional archival materials in proximity to one of Germany's most vibrant metropolises.
